Aerospace/Aviation Assembly (AAA) Virtual Train-the-Trainer

Space Coast ADTC‘s ASTM International NCATT Aerospace/Aviation Assembler (AAA) virtual train-the-trainer course consists of 60 modules encompassing fourteen Aerospace/Aviation Assembly skill areas (see “What You’ll Learn” below).  The course also includes insight into methods for teaching these skills to others.  The virtual training is self-paced and can be accomplished at the learner’s discretion over a designated period.

While coursework in a virtual LMS environment does not provide insight into the lab exercises mirroring what would be taught in AAA labs, those going through the course will be exposed to the requirements necessary to successfully earn the ASTM NCATT AAA certification. Upon completion, those completing the course will be offered the opportunity to test for the credential.

ASTM NCATT AAA certification attests an individual possesses the competencies and skills in aerospace and aircraft assembly.  The ASTM NCATT AAA standard was developed using ASTM International’s rigorous Consensus Standards evaluation process to ensure uniformity with industry best practices. Those receiving the certification demonstrate not only the technical aspects of Aerospace/Aircraft Assembly, but also knowledge of safety protocols, quality control and regulatory compliance.
