3-D Printing Summer Camp
Join us for an exciting hands-on experience this June!
Camp Overview
This 3-D Printing Summer Camp will immerse campers in the world of 3-D printing, ensuring a hands-on learning experience throughout each day. The primary Objective of the camp is to equip participants with the fundamental principles of 3-D printing. Campers will gain insights into design and production processes while working on individual projects and they will get to keep and take home the different 3-D projects that they design and create.
Participating in this camp offers numerous benefits, including the enhancement of creativity and technical skills. Campers will also develop problem-solving abilities and collaboration skills through engaging projects.

Camp Dates:
June 16 – 18 (Ages 10-16), 10:00am – 3:00pm

What They'll Learn:
Introduction to 3-D Printing: 3-D printing is a revolutionary technology that transforms digital designs into physical objects. Understanding key terminology, such as extrusion filament, and CAD is essential for successful use in various applications.
Hands On Printing: Participants will engage in hands-on sessions to create their first 3-D printed model. Practical exercises will support skill development and reinforce theoretical knowledge gained during the introduction.
Design Software: An overview of popular design tools, such as Tinkered, Solidworks and other CAD will be provided. These applications facilitate model creation, and empower campers to bring their ideas to life digitally before printing.
Project Work: Campers will undertake a project to build a personalized item, integrating their design and printing skills. This activity fosters creativity while allowing participants to showcase their individual styles and interests.
Group Activities: Collaboration is key in the world of 3-D printing. Campers will participate in group activities that promote teamwork and collective problem-solving, such as assembly and essential skills for future innovations.
Safety Guidelines
